I recently got turned on to Maggie Walters, a musician based out of Austin. Apparently she works with a lot of cool people from Spoon, Cursive, the Butthole Surfers, Bishop Allen, etc.
To me, she kind of sounds like Jenny Lewis in lo-fi -- in a good way. Her voice is amazing.
I recommend checking out "Dragonfly" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6J-d1s4fD8) and "Another Living Room." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVSeLC19wos) She also has a really amazing track called "Fingerprints" that I can only find on iLike and iTunes.
Who does she remind you of or who are some other artists like this? I'm totally digging the sound right now.
