Hmmm... "Come Clean" cover by my band (www.myspace.com/adaliepa (http://www.myspace.com/adaliepa)). It's the third song on the playlist if you wish to give it a listen or two. Sure, it's a cover of what I would call a 2003 Disney Pop song, but, we put our own little spin to it. Check it out.

Every time I hear this song, I can never quite decide if I like it or not. I know the original so well, and just trying to put it in the context of Cash singing it just somehow doesn't sit right with me.

I totally agree, now that ive heard the song 4768493 times im used to it but every person i show it to is taken back at first. After the 1:30 mark the song is more of an easy listen and the very end, where the drummer is singing, the chorus is actually pretty poppy.

It's hard to say best ever.

I usually shy away from Beatles covers, since they always pale in comparison to the originals - but that Thrice one was pretty solid. Mae's was weak, though. Thrice's Helter Skelter cover also linked to Dustin Kensrue covering Hospital Beds by Cold War Kids, and I'm thoroughly enjoying that at the moment.

I will say, though, that Confide cover is complete fucking garbage.

Agree with all the love for Thrice's "Helter Skelter" cover. My favorite cover ever though is Jesse Lacey's treatment of "Accident Prone" by Jawbreaker. Dear You is one of my favorite albums of all time and the totally stripped-down version of that song sounds really cool.
