Doez any1 know where i can listen 2 that nu Hellogoodbye song?
Here (In your arms)?
if so, plz tell me...
jaykay im not this stupid.
people should really stop complaining about the fact that theyve heard all of the HGB songs and that there are a lack of "new" songs on the upcoming CD.
The words may be the same, but the versions are different- it will sound different, good lord people, have a little faith.

sweet

meaningful post. like your's about a subpar band where you posted their mediocre album?
:shake:
Is this where I point out taht their music video and use of synth are possibly the worst things to happen to music in a long time
God damnit, forced rhyme, terribly unclever lyrics...and people say Pat from FOB is bad, this guy could really use that auto-enunciate

Between CIWWAF and this...I'm declaring war on the death of pop-punk. If this is where the genre is heading, I give up on it now. There is no creativity, no energy, and no legitimacy in this type of music.
If you're going to write shallow lyrics with forced rhyme, misuse instruments just so you fit in a niche, and only care about what that Soundscan number is on Tuesday, then label yourself what the fuck you are....POP music.
Last year was a great year for pop-punk as a genre, TAI, Acceptance, FOB, GAD, the list is endless for the bands who made an impact, and more importantly, made me believe that the genre was blooming. This year has been so shallow release wise...I've hated half of them, and those that I don't hate get old after 3 weeks.
The only album that has lasted out of this genre within the year for me is the Format. Even Dropping Daylight is old already.

TSL will hopefully have a new one this year BOATS was the best overall cd from '05 imo and showed a lot of promise in their direction

No. Don't say that. It's fun music and you have no clue what the artist's intentions are. Everything has been done before, some of it is just a little less original than others. It's just music. Nothing's gonna kill any genre.

hellogoodbye isn't pop-punk and doesn't claim to be. They are power pop.

I hate the whole 'power pop' thing. HGB is just pop. Leave it at that.

Hit the Lights is great! This Is a Stick Up... is my favorite release this year (Along with Dave Melillo's Talk is Cheap). The first time I saw them was with hellogoodbye actually. I'm seeing them in August with Paramore and CIWWAF.
