A band of huge importance to the 90's skate punk scene (if you listened to punk between 94-97, you owned a face to face album), the growth of fat wreck chords (Face to Face's first album was one of Fat's first releases and one of its better selling ones at that, way back in 1992), and the breaking of bands like saves the day, new found glory and alkaline trio (all 3 of which opened for face to face on their 2000 'reactionary' summer tour before any of the 3 had a very large fan base...this was pre-stay what you are, nfg-s/t and from here to infirmiry).

Bonus scene points if you were at that show like me...10 bucks kids...for nfg/std/alk3/f2f. that shit dont happen anymore, ever since the cheerleaders at your school started jocking blink 182 shirts and I guess now panic! at your moms house sold 500K before they ever played a show.

dude, holy shit I love F2F. I got Shoot the Moon: The Essential Collection this past January even though I knew most of the songs already. I went with Big Choice for this poll, simply because of the songs You Lied and It's Not Over...two of my favorite songs of all time. I only saw them once and it was on Warped, and they played a lot of stuff off of How to Ruin Everything (which I didn't like that well) but I'm still thankful I got to see them before they called it quits.

They were so good at their goodbye tour. I'm glad I got to go to that show. Such a good band.

Complicated was a sick song, I voted S/T.

Hell yes I love F2F. The live album is great - if you don't own any f2f, I'd say pick that shizz up if you can track it down. And yes, I was one of the lucky few to catch that incredible nfg/alk3/std/ftf tour back in the day (D.C. for me...came down from Baltimore). The funny thing(sad, actually) was that by the time f2f came on, the crowd had thinned out considerably.

the self titled album is tops for me.
