I am actually for this 100%. and not to keep out the General Forum kids but to just keep out kids that have no idea what they're talking about. Like that astros kid. Or the kid that said I was a "closet tigers fan" because i told him the blue jays/rockies series is what's wrong with interleague play and that the rockies beating toronto and oakland wasn't a big deal.

I thought about one time along time ago starting a sports website set up similar to AP with major sports stories on the main page and forums and places for each sport.
The I realized I was lazy.



broken parachute will hopefully fill me in with specifics.
basically from what I understand is frank quit staff and then something happened and jason banned a kid until Christmas so a bunch of kids made a bunch of stupid variations of "cause a scene" as accounts and started posting tons of threads in the general forum. Then tate hired someone else as staff at like 4 am (EST, 1 am wst) and all the kids were coming up with big conspiracy stories and saying the new staff member (braden skye, i think it was) was really just tate and a few kids tried to get banned purposefully. so two kids got IP banned and i don't think anyone else did and he threatened to shut the entire site down and whatnot.

Basically alot of e-drama for a silly music website. and kids with way too much time on their hands, coupled with a very un-funny sense of humor.

I like that idea...but I think a 2/3 majority usually bashes the person enough that they leave. If you are very wrong on this forum, you get told, usually with at least 15 posts.
