If we could count atypical superhero types, it would go something like:
1) Jesse Custer
2) The Flash (Wally West)
3) Yorick Brown
4) Bigby Wolf
5) Batman
If not:
1) The Flash (Wally West)
2) Batman
3) Multiple Man/Jamie Madrox
4) Nightwing
5) Invincible
5.1) Deadpool - Good call Utman. The Merc with a Mouth owns.

Deadpool
Iron Man
Morph (pre-proteus body snatching)
Martian Manhunter
Gambit
tough one for me. my favorite comic and superhero franchise is the x-men, so i'm inclined to put them at #1 but i realize that would be cheating, at the same time picking individuals there is like picking my favorite child. but here goes...
cheating list
1 X-Men
2 Spider-man
3 Batman
4 Fantastic Four
5 Daredevil
non-cheating list
1 Spider-man
2 Batman
3 Wolverine
4 Daredevil
5 Superman
yeah i know, doesn't make any sense, but what can ya do?

you count carnage as a hero? kind of messed up seeing as how he is a crazy psychopath
TheByrus

i meant the spiderman series with carnage.
i could care less about the rest.

oh. good choice. i have an issue of that. good stuff.

once you watch/read the carnage series the other battles seem small and pointless.
Blake Solomon

very true. it was one of the first comic books that hit me hard emotionally, like i felt so bad for everyone involved. I just hoped that everything was going to somehow end up ok for everyone. It was epic, a huge point in my comic history.
TheByrus

yea.
and i doubt he will ever make it into the movies.
Blake Solomon

it could look so sweet in real life, and he is def. a fan favorite. If I had my way, id give him and/or venom their own movie. That would be a tight movie, give some villians a chance, let the masses who dont read comics understand the mentality of some of the villians.

Deadpool was a hired assassin. He wasn't really hero nor a villian. He was on both the good and bad side multiple times.
TheByrus

venom isnt even really a villian.
he is upstanding in all things non-spiderman.

i was hoping to find cletus kasady somewhere in the credits for spiderman 3.

thats true, i always thought of him more as a hero, but he def. rode the fence. Well, I still love him anyways.

yeah, but most people think of him as a villian, so i think it would be cool if they saw him in a different light, or how most people see him in the comics. Though, he was a pretty good villian in the ultimate spiderman video game, i loved that game.
