anyways, the game is sweet. i got it in the mail the other day and have been playing it nonstop. which is weird because i have a life and usually don't play video games for more than an hour or two each day i that i do play video games. i feel like i am back in second grade playing sonic. it is a good game.

anyone elses thoughts?

noooooo wayyyyyyyy jose! well maybe. i don't enjoy soccer video games. but i will admit that the game was even fun for me to play. but i still think baseball is better because you could choose your teammates and all kinds of other stuff. its one level above mlb slugfest in terms of video games.

yea, mario party is probably the greatest series of games. its even better than mortal kombat. each mario party gets better. mortal kombat, its always the same thing.

side note: mario party 7 is about 10 times better than mp3

Baseball is honestly my least favorite of the Mario sports games. They kind of work by getting super wacky but Mario Baseball didn't give much opportunity for that... it's like a typical arcade baseball game just with Mario characters. Add in the fact that the fielding is a bit more difficult than it should be and I don't know...

Mario Golf, on the other hand, is one of my favorite series EVER. And I hate all other golf games. But the wacky courses make it so much fun.

Mario Tennis I also love, albeit like Baseball it suffers a bit from not quite having the opportunity to go wacky enough. And when it does, like the wacky courts, it just gets distracting.

Mario Super Strikers is pretty cool but feels kind of been there done that after Sega Soccer Slam (same developer and all.)

I'd say...

Mario Golf TT > Mario Power Tennis > Mario Strikers > Mario Baseball

Oh, and overall, the best Gamecube games are Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4, duh.

Here's my opinion on this game and other Mario games. You can't go wrong with any Mario sports games!! They're all amazing! As of late I've been playing lots of Strikers and Baseball with my friends. The 'Toy Field' mini-game for Baseball is ridiculous yet completely addicting. I love all Mario games!

I actually haven't played baseball.

My favorite has to be Mario Strikers. When I saw the demo in Best Buy, I stayed in the same spot for about half an hour, just playing it, and the manager said they're closing up. I didn't want to leave.
