Your Demise is only playing on select dates along with some other bands that have yet to be announced. I didn't know that when I submitted the news story that was on the front page a couple of days ago.

Anyway, I'm definitely stoked for this and to see what other bands are going to be playing select dates. As long as their is a Tampa date that is. It'll probably wind up being in St. Pete though since I think that's where the tour went last year.

Same for me, but I don't really like Carnifex and I've seen STYG like 3 times, so I'm not too concerned lol.

Any chance to see Unearth is good by me.

Alright here's what I can remember:

Got there late so I missed Carnifex.

The Ghost Inside:
The Lion War opener
Destined
Shiner
Provoke
The Brave
Between the Lines
Faith or Forgiveness

Veil of Maya:
Wounds
Crawl Back
Mark the Lines
Unbreakable
It's Not Safe to Swim Today
Another new song... might have been The Uprising
Pillars
We Bow In Its Aura

Stick To Your Guns (not in order):
We're What Seperates the Heart from the Heartless
Enough is Enough
Tonights Entertainment
Colorblind
Badge a Brand
Driving Force
What Goes Around (new song)
Faith in the Untamed
This is More (they close with this)
maybe one more that i forgot...

Great show.

We Are Not Anonymous
This Lying World
Black Hearts Now Reign
Unstoppable

Saw this the other day, The Ghost Inside set was pretty much the same as the one posted but slightly different:

The Ghost Inside
The Lion War opener
Destined
Shiner
Provoke
The Brave
Between the Lines
Sirens Song
Faith or Forgiveness

Stick To Your Guns was different then the one posted (did they really play Badge is a Brand and Driving Force?)
Heartless
Part Of Me
Enough's Enough
New Song
Tonights Entertainment
New Song
Colorblind
Impact
This is More

Unearth was pretty awesome, one of the few metalcore bands that can still put on a solid live performance.
The Great Dividers
Giles
Sanctity Of Brothers
This Lying World
My Heart Bleeds No Longer
The March
We Are Not Anonymous
Endless
Zombie Autopilot
Black Hearts Now Reign

I'm pretty sure that's it.

Went to this last night in Chicago.

Missed about all of Your Demise due to Chicago traffic sucking ass.

Carnifex was awesome. Really enjoyed them. However, they remind me so much of suicide silence.

Carnifex Setlist-
Hell Chose Me
My Heart in Atrophy
Entombed Monarch
Sorrowspell
In Coalesce With Filth and Faith
Lie To My Face

The Ghost Inside fucking ruled. Love this band and it's the first time i've seen them since 10 for 10. They got that place prettty intense.

TGI Setlist-
Lion War(intro)
Destined
Shiner
Provoke
The Brave
Between the Lines(new song)
Siren Song
Faith or Forgiveness

Stick To Your Guns and Veil of Maya switched spots due to it being VoM's hometown. But Jesus STYG brought it last night. However there were a few fights during their set, like usual in Chicago. I'll get to that later.

STYG setlist-
Heartless
Part of Me
Enough is Enough
Faith in the Untamed(new song)
Tonights Entertainment
What Goes Around(new song)
Colorblind
Impact
This is More

Veil of Maya was up next and wow the hometown boys sure got a great reception. I enjoyed their set for the 4th time in about a year or so. The new songs ripped, but outside out of that, similar set as usual.

VoM's setlist-
Wounds(intro)
Crawl Back
Mark the Lines
Unbreakable(new song)
It's Not Safe to Swim Today
Namaste(new song)
Pillars
We Bow In It's Aura.
ending breakdown that got the place going crazy.

Finally Unearth played. I've always heard they rip live but i've yet to see them. And i was wondering how the crowd would go. Welll, they fucking killed it. The crowd was mixed with dancers and moshers, and for once, they weren't just going after each other. They let each other do their own thing, something that wasn't happening earlier that night, nor any time i see mixed shows like this. I don't know the exact setlist for them, but i do know however, they played
Crow Killer
The Great Dividers
Giles
One Step Away
This Lying World
The March
Endless
My Will Be Done
Bloodlust of the Human Condition
Black Hearts Now Reign

plus several more.

Buuut all in all, this was definitely one of the best show's i've been to in a long time. All 5 bands i actually saw, and the few songs i heard by Your Demise in line were absolutely amazing. I would for sure go to this tour again if i had the chance.

Oh and seriously guys, all you push moshers and tough guy hardcore guys need to get the helll over yourselves. I agree some of the stuff was bullshit last night, but come on now. Just because you're a metal guy and you get in the way of a hxc dancer, doesn't mean you need to try and fight them. you'll lose. especially in chicago where everyone is basically in a crew. Come on now. There was a bunch of that shit during STYG and some during TGI. At least everyone chilled out for Unearth, and everyone had fun doing their own thing. I love being able to two-step with my hxc guys while i have a circle pit going around me. There's such thing as unity at shows, let's keep it that way, instead of trying to see who has the biggest balls by trying to fight everyone.

This shit was great tonight.

Your Demise was pretty good, I don't like that genre that much but their vocalist was fucking nuts hardcore dancing on stage and stuff haha, really fun to watch.

Carnifex was brutal...awesome everything. Vocals were like insanely good.

The Ghost Inside was also amazing, really energetic. The crowd knew like every word and at the end for "Faith Or Forgiveness" everyone literally jumped on stage and like tackled their vocalist for the mic to scream the words, it was really awesome to see and the vocalist was like "damn, Cleveland never lets us down!".

Then Veil of Maya...probably the most fun I had. Their vocals were the best by far, and they just have so many breakdown-type sections so it's like moshing the entire time. They definitely had the best moshing too. All of the other bands the crowd was mostly hardcore dancing and just had like 3 rows of people up front actually moshing...more like chanting and punk/hardcore type people. But for Veil Of Maya the whole front area was just jumping and moshing to the breakdowns, definitely awesome.

Then Stick To Your Guns...good, I'm not into the hardcore stuff as much but they really have awesome breakdowns, especially in one of their new songs. He gave some awesome speeches too, that had everyone riled up. Once again, end of their last song even MORE people went on stage all by the mic and shit and then jumped off during the breakdown, never seen something like that.

Then Unearth...they were really good...didn't know that much by them but definitely enjoyed them, solos were refreshing and awesome!

Attack Attack! and Of Mice & Men people call hardcore but it's not like actual real HARDCORE...just like it's not actual real SCREAMO.

just like they arent post-hardcore either. real hardcore is the shit. i hate the word screamo. its what old people call anything that has screaming in it.

annnnd.

i went tonight. fucking tight as hell. carnifex was really good but im not so big on them but they did impress me. ghost inside ruled, got videos of their set. veil of maya was by far my favorite, videos as well. stick to your guns was just how witness described them. they were awesome and had tons of energy. unearth was good but i left halfway through.

They don't like the song that much, they think it sounds terrible live, so they wont play anything else other than the breakdown, which will likely be out the door once Returners comes out. Blue and Gold is also another song they will never play.

And Witness, wrong once again.

Umm no, I'm not wrong about liking the song and wanting to hear it. And I'm also not wrong by thinking it's their best song. It doesn't matter if the band doesn't like it, I still do lol. Underoath doesn't like their album They're Only Chasing Safety, yet it's my favorite of theirs...
