Sounds kinda silly but I met this girl from Hawaii and after I threw a bunch of LOST references (she didn't get them) at her I asked her if like she knows of people who start bands out there. And I don't mean like some like old dues with ukuleles I mean ya know... bands that get posted on this site. Reason I asked is because like you never hear of any bands coming out of there. Hawaii get at me. Lemme know what you guys are doing over there.

if hawaii had a music scene, that'd be my post-college destination without even the slightest shadow of a doubt. unfortunately jumpstarting my music career takes priority over living in the best part of the united states.

i know right? they don't really tour anymore and that album came out two years ago, i dont know why they didnt get bigger

I'm originally from Hawaii myself so I can list a few bands that come from there.

Well known bands:

Pepper (from my hometown of Kona)
Jack Johnson
National Product

Lesser known bands:
Olivia
The Red Ribbon Army (Good friends of mine now living in LA)
Goodbye Elliott (Also good friends of mine now living in LA)
