...Northstar anyone?

I dont know if im right but do many people even know about northstar? def. a god band. the main question i have though is how does Pollyana compare to Is this thing loaded. when pollyana first came out i walked into coconuts to buy it, scanned it so i could listen to it and ended up not getting it...

Northstar was so good. I remember they released "Pollyanna" and "The Pornographer's Daughter" on their PureVolume, and I thought it was gonna be such a great record. It was even hyped up a bit on this site prior to release. I bought it the day it came out, but I was disappointed. Although Pollyanna had one of the best Northstar songs ("To My Better Angel"), I think the album dragged by the end.

Oh, and "Two Zero Two" is just beautiful. And their last show here in Boston was with Lucero: good times.

I don't think they're known as much outside of this forum ..maybe because of their breakup a while ago. They don't really fit in with all these new bands popping up everywhere. I still love them though.
