The new Set Your Goals (http://www.absolutepunk.net/setyourgoals) album is pretty damn impressive. It's a crazy mix of "old" school pop-punk. Blink182, Sum41, and New Found Glory all would be damn proud of their new little boy. Check them out (http://www.setyourgoals.net/) and pick up the album on July 11th (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=699&c=3).

Because the lead singer sounds like Tom and the gang vocals are vintage NFG.

Sum 41?
I hear Civ and NFG. The first track does sound like new Blink 182 though.

This sounds like a better version of Sum 41.

You should get your ears checked if you don't hear NFG in this band. That's who they sound most like by FAR.

And I'm glad to see you've come around to this band...this is great punk-pop.

This band takes me back, I love it. I also love that they're accepted by a variety of different scenes (hardcore, pop-punk, etc.)

i like the ep a lot more, this is still pretty fun though. definite Civ and NFG influence, not blink or sum 41 so much.

Yeah, the minute i heard this I was thinking NFG, immediately. You'd have to be deaf or just somebody who has never heard NFG to think any different.
