I don't think there's anything wrong with that, to each his own. I actually listen to them, too. Variety's the spice of life. But I'll pick punk over either of those any day.

I don't know, is Morrissey gay? I hadn't heard that before, but I do notice quite a bit of "gay" lyrics in their music. Specifically, Morrissey makes a few allusions to being a woman.

I guess it's cool now to like them? Regardless if it is, I've liked them since I was at younger age then I am not. I remember rockin' a mullet and listening to The Smiths, The Cure and Ozzy on a regular basis. I believe I was 6 or 7.

the smiths are bloody brilliant, morrisey is up there with the very best

as for albums i'd go for 'the queen is dead' followed by 'meat is murder' then if you loved those grab whatever else you can find........or just pick up 21 sweet tracks on the very best of the smiths disk
