recommend a cd to give to a girl?

so when i see my girlfriend again next weekend in addition to what i already got her for christmas i thought i would give her a cd too since we've been sending each other lyrics a lot lately. She isnt very into the bands covered on this site too much but she does like relient k, jason mraz, the fray, the Temper Trap, that type of stuff so im looking for something kind of similar with good lyrics that she'd appreciate. The only thing ive come up with so far is Between the Trees - Spain but I kind of want something a little more light emotionally (in terms of the lyrics) and i dont really love that album. So yea any suggestions?

A lot of the girls I know love stuff such as Waking Ashland, Jack's Mannequin, Holiday Parade, Death Cab for Cutie and The Shins, so I recommend you get her anything by the aforementioned bands or something similar.

thanks everybody. death cab is out of the question though because i think she already worries i love ben gibbard more than her, which isnt true, but he is pretty fantastic. Jack's mannequin i was considering, i love anberlin and the shins, ill have to check out Waking Ashland and Holiday Parade.

If you're going to get your girlfriend a CD, and she's into Jason Mraz and Relient K, then I reccommend you buy her a CD by The Maine - Can't Stop Won't Stop. It's currently out in stores right now & so is it's deluxe edition which includes a 30 minute documentary.
I'm sure she'll love it! :)

The Maine's genre is indie/pop/punk/rock sort of thing. Sounds like All Time Low & Relient K.

Hey, probably a bit late but could be another CD for later. I would check out anything by Imogen Heap, Owen or Bon Iver. The new record by One Republic is pretty good if she is more into pop/rock than punk! Hope this helps!?
