This was a great show. It was amazing to hear them play a song off of [A-B]Life. Chris also came back to play guitar for this show. Will add some pics later.

Not sure of the exact order but here are the songs played:

A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contain
Bullet To Binary
January 1979
Tie Me Up! Untie Me!
Four Letter Word (Pt. Two)
Messes Of Men

Goodbye, I!
A Stick, A Carrot & String
Timothy Hay
Fig With A Bellyache
Cattail Down

Half the set is from their new album, which isn't surprising but still kind of disappointing. The first half of the set looks great, though. I kind of like that they opened with "A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains" and then proceeded to play songs from each album in order. Definitely would have loved to see "Bullet to Binary."

were there no opening bands?

not sure about other dates, but in philly, there were two. make a rising and drink up buttercup.

make a rising was one of the weirdest and most confusing experiences of my life. i did not enjoy them one bit. stupid time signatures, awful ( show tune-ish ) harmonies, really annoying guitar riffs. i dont know, not for me at all.

drink up, buttercup were much better. they reminded me of a cross between manchester orchestra, ludo and steel train. their harmonies sounded alot like the beatles ( magical mystery tour-era). there were four members and each were constantly busy with different instruments and playing styles. my eye was drawn to each member on the stage instead of just fixated on one. this band was a little bit weird also but the music they played sounded like actual songs as opposed to . . . whatever the previous band was doing.

they need to tour next year, but play less from the new album. I really wasn't too into it, certain songs were great though.

and I'd LOVE to hear anything from A->B

this is a horrible way to do a setlist. 9 songs from the last album in a row? turrrrrrrible.

I went to the show at the church and everything you just said perfectly states what me and my friends were thinking. I hated the first band but Drink Up Buttercup was really good and the dudes were really cool. And seeing a song off A-->B Life was surreal. Definately worth the trip

Yeah I was there, was hoping for A-->B even though we knew it was a longshot, great show though.

yeah, but it's tentative. i'm sure 1-2 songs are off. even so, bottom heavy in new shit is not a good setlist.
