most of the time when i visit ap.net i look at the top post to see if anything has been updated since my last visit. i know that sometimes news posts are kept at the top of the index page so people read over them a few times, but when i'm quickly running through the web they make me think that there have been no new news posts since earlier. i'll later realize that i might have missed a whole page of new information.
maybe if a small white star could be placed in the right corner of the news post headline to show it's a sticky news post? it would be easier to see what's been updated. relatively simple.
thanks. =]
