Anyways, I hear Hot Cross have inked a deal with Equal Vision. Opinions? Comments? Forgive me for being late on such news.

yeah it's an imprint of equal vision. theyposted this awesome rant about how they were total sell outs on their website awhile back.

I don't think it matters since it's not going to affect the music. it might get them on some bigger tours (so they'll come here!) but I think the real reason for the switch was so Billy didn't have to worry about putting his own records.

oh well. I do believe that bands should stay on the label that they own. I just have a feeling the reason they signed was because Equal Vision can put their records into more stores.

I think there's nothing wrong with them signing onto Equal Vision. Liked said previously, its going to help them get more exposure and get on bigger tours (hopefully coming to Canada). In terms of it changing there music, I doubt it.
Just my feeling though.

a new set of lungs was by fair their best release. cryonics is alright, some songs are really really great & others just kind of drag on. fair trades is pretty decent. i like that release a lot but never listen to it.
