I know everyone has been getting on the referees for the questionable decisions. The teams themselves are talking about all the mistakes. But i think it is their fault that all this happens. Soccer (football) is the hardest sport to officiate because all the players taking dives and rolling around on the floor. It is getting rediculous. You look at the top teams and most of them do it, and the worst is that up and coming teams look at them and do it too. There was a player rolling on the ground for Ghana like every 5 minutes during the USA game.
And it has come to the point that not diving actually hurts teams. I rarely see the US team dive. England too. How many penalties could rooney draw if he dove?

True, but it always has and always will be a part of soccer. If it is a questionable dive and so forth, just call the foul, don't pull the card. I think that is the biggest issue. Not the calling of the fouls, but the nonsense severity of the fouls.

haha, yeah, i heard about that. The guy should have checked his book before just giving out a card. I don't think that was a big deal cause it was in the 90th minute, the game was over. But yeah, it was stupid.

The cards are what's ridiculous, not the fouls.

It's FIFA, they are forcing the guys to call everything. If they just reffed how they did in the leagues, it would be fine.

Discretion is needed. Fuck FIFA. Some things are just not cards.
