I'll start positive
Homewrecker sounds better.
Oh it is love, 2 weeks in Hawaii, and Baby it's fact, sounds pretty good the way they did it. I could go either way on these or the demo versions
All of your love I never heard, and it is weak for the first song.
Here in your arms, Stuck to you, Saw it on your keyboard and Figures A and B have been butchered.
The rest aren't even worth talking about. I hope it's the ecards sound quality that is making it like that. I'm so bummed now.

only 11 songs on the cd?

what I like is that they put the whole thing up for a quick listen, what I don't like ....mainly is the music. It's very very generic. I actually enjoyed the EP but I reckon this will satisfy me.....
No offense to anybody out there reading this, but truthfully I think the record sounds awful. The demos are better quality than the cuts that made it to the album.

there's an awful lot of special effects. they overproduced this. yet i'm sure i'm still going to buy it, just to have another version of touchdown turnaround.

It should just be taken for what it is, a fun record and that's why I'm going to get it.

The quality on this is really bad. I hope it's just the e-card and not how the cd will actually sound.

there is one problem for me. i dotn like the touchdown turnaround version on it. i think they should have just kept the live version because they get into it more. i love that version. i think i like the video from warped i like more.

It is streaming audio, guys. That's why it sounds like Purevolume quality (read: shit). The CD will sound much crisper and sharper.

DUUDE this cd is going to be awesome...super fun, super catchy...I don't see how this band can't be bigger than panic @ the disco. Seriously.

I don't understand why there is so much hate for these types of bands, also including CIWWAF, and add P!ATD. If you're going to bitch on how terrible these type of bands are (Powerpop - whatever you want to call it), then don't waste your time posting here when you could be listening to Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, and Brand New which are pretty much the only bands around here that I haven't seen shit talked about them.

i'm going to be dancing to this album A LOT.
they're a happy band. we need more happy bands in the world.

i don't know what you're all talking about. i've seen hellogoodbye twice live and they bring it. this new cd sounds like it's going to be the shit. i'm not afraid to admit that sometimes i just like to get down.

I think it sounds good. Its tough to judge with the bad quality, but its HelloGoodbye. They make fun music and thats what the record is.
there's an awful lot of special effects. they overproduced this. yet i'm sure i'm still going to buy it, just to have another version of touchdown turnaround.
You're totally right. They put way too many effects and it ruined the music, in my opinion. I agree with the duder who said that Figures A and B, etc, etc, were better as demos. They sound more like old school HGB, and while some may argue that all bands must progress.... this is much more of a digression, I'd say. =)
I like the sound of her in your arms. Pop goodness. Did the demos leak?
The demos have been around for a really long time, actually.

a lot of these songs are off old demos, but the new versions sound pretty nifty.

The new songs on this are all really terrible, with the exception of possibly the single (still haven't made up my mind on that one). Everyone was bitching that the old songs were so prominent on this album, but to me they are the only thing worth listening to. Though I am pissed that they took out any kind of mood setting intro in some of the old songs, like Two Weeks in Hawaii and Touchdown Turnaround.

hm.. : I I kinda already know almost every single song.. I wouldn't have mind if they would have put the demo-versions on the record instead.. I think they came out a little bit too artificial, but I still love the songs, hellogoodbye is awesome!!
