Say Anything Cancel a Few Shows

Unfortunately Max Bemis (Say Anything (http://www.absolutepunk.net/sayanything)) has come down with strep throat and had to cancel a few tour dates so he can rest/get better. The band won't be able to play again until July 3rd at the Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay, ON.

They've had a reason for each time they've canceled. It's not like they were all 'Oh fuck those kids, i'm not playing the show anymore.'

yeah...i didn't know this until i went to the show in toronto tonight...haha i saw a sign saying "say anything won't be playing due to illness" i started swearing like nobody's business..and loud too. everyone was looking at me lol.

i understand max gets sick a lot so im not mad at him, i just wanna see them again! they put on a great show!! tonight chris said to the crowd "as im sure you noticed say anything didnt play tonight" and the crowd booed, and he's like "i agree, it sucks" and he went on to explain max was sick n stuff and then he goes "on the count of 3, every say 'feel better max!'" and he counted to 3 and the whole ampitheatre just screamed it...it was nice of him. i'm also pretty sure i saw max at the side of the stage, so i think he was there.

anyways, i hope you feel better max...or maybe you're not sick. maybe us goddamn kids are not being gracious enough with the merch money we spend...haha. wow that was bad. it's been a long day though.

yeah, this definitely sucks. i was so excited to see them in london, they like never come here and they were the only reason i was going to the dashboard show. ooooh well, hope he gets better, and maybe come make it up to us sometime?

he has strep kids, it's not like he's having another breakdown. he'll be back and ready for action. but i do know how it feels to have the band cancel on you. i've had tickets three times before i actually got to see them.

sorry, yeah, you're right...he did say "yes, boo" and i agree, it would have been so much better if say anything were there. the main reason i went was for say anything and city and colour. i LOVE old dashboard, so i really wanted to hear him play/loved hearing him play some old songs. but if say anything and city and colour weren't originally on the bill, i might not have gone. *sigh* this is the second time i've bought tickets to a show just so i could see say anything and they've dropped out of the show. i understand it's not your fault max, but i REALLY WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!
