What i'm looking for:
I have played with the same band for awhile now (played a ton of huge shows, vans warped tour etc, plenty of studio experience) and its not working out anymore (members left) so i'm looking to join another band that is already established with songs and a following and has their stuff together, and is touring or will be ready to tour soon or as close to that as possible. signed or unsigned bands, management or no management, as long as they are shooting for these things and/or have something lined up and are playing shows and have people coming to them. PLEASE have good gear. Although i do want to tour regularly, I am not willing to permanently relocate from the los angeles area since i love it here, my friends are here, my family is here, and this is where i wanna come home to after a tour but if you are anywhere in the LA area and its something im interested in ill be there and we'll get this on the road.
About me:
I'm 23 and have been playing bass for 10 years, have all pro equipment (ampeg svt w/ 8x10, musicman stingray, wireless rig etc). I have some tattoos and i have plugs but i am still an overall clean cut stylish looking dude (if needed for a POP project). i drink but do not do any drugs and i am a very laid back guy when hanging out and a very passionate/motivated guy when it comes to writing, rehearsing, and everything on the business end. Also i am not a singer, but my specialty is writing song lyrics, more so than bass lines.
Range of artists i like, or what i would be interested in playing:
i like everything from (very)pop, and r&b, to heavier rock(no screamo or hardcore) and everything in between. The Cab, Boys Like Girls, There For Tomorrow, Cash Cash, Anberlin, Jonas Brothers, Forever The Sickest Kids, The Higher, Every Avenue, Mayday Parade, Push Play, My Favorite Highway, Honor Society, The Maine, The Rocket Summer, Acceptance, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Jay Sean, All Time Low, We The Kings, and more stuff like that.
