so i made a mix tape/cd for the car with many of my favourite all time bands/artists on it. any suggestions, alterations, comments?

to be honest i just wanted to start some discussion about some bands i enjoy

I love The Who, I love R.E.M. (especially that song), Oasis are brilliant and so are The Clash.

yea i love all those bands, i don't think R.E.M. get enough attention round here though, i think a lot of people somehow (& i have no idea how) find them slow/boring, i think their a band that comes with age

You seem to have great taste in my opinion.

Best song off Everyone Is Here. Shame about half of the rest of them.
The Exponents = fantastic.

cheers, oh i don't know i really enjoyed everyone was here, especially after i saw the boys live last year,
are ya into much else finn related? oh & good call on the exponents, got to love them

i would love to have a copy of this

umm no guarantees but if i find some time i could pass on a few songs at time (i don't have broad band so it takes me a while)

A little bit. My dad was all into Crowded House and Split Enz so I got to listen to that when I was younger, not really now.

It's a shame The Exponents aren't touring anymore (or broke up, one of them), I never got to see them.

your old mans got great taste. yea i missed the exponents as well, a few of the boys went & loved it. they'll do another tour sometime in the future, no doubt

Occasionally, he does... Very occasionally. Some of the other stuff he listens to is crap though.

I would kill to see The Exponents live. Or very close to it anyway.

A lot of good tunes. The Who-My Generation is my fav song on the mix.
