I never drink enough to be hungover.
Somebody explain this to me, I really don't get it.
To be hungover, you just have to get drunk.
Why would you drink if you're going to stop before it feels good?
That's like deliberatly stopping sex before you orgasm.

People can get a good buzz and let it last the whole night. You can get get drunk, but those who are smart consume alot of water before they fall asleep, which prevents a hangover in the morning. And then there are those who, once they are drunk, continue drinking heavily and then wake up with a hangover.

I'm a complete lightweight and I usually do not drink due to the alcohol aftertaste (I'm a sissy enough to cough every time I take a sip of any alcoholic beverage, including beer). I was fairly drunk after two full glasses of wine and one shot of whiskey last night (my girlfriend who doesn't usually drink either was able to drink THREE glasses of wine and have THREE shots and she was level-headed throughout the whole evening). As for a hangover, I did not have one. I tend to have a habit of drinking water or other non-alcoholic beverages sometime in the evening or before bed so dehydration for a hangover cannot occur. It's a good system, I'd say.

This. I drank myself stupid last night and woke up 9 hours later just fine. I've had one hangover in my life and I basically had to force it.

However, I did watch The Hangover today, again, it was incredible as always.

I usually never get hangovers but this morning it felt as if I had run in front of a bulldozer. Threw up a few times, didn't eat until 5 in the afternoon, and just a shitty day. Totally worth it though

I used to not get hangovers. Then something about my time in England, I got them every single time I got drunk - even though I would down two bottles of water before bed. And my hangovers aren't the lame "Ohh I have such a bad headache" kind. Mine were the "I puke, literally all day, until around 6pm and obviously can't even get out of bed before that."

I used to be able to be perfectly drunk but wake up just fine. Now those were the days.

I don't really get hangovers either. Definitely don't get the headaches. Sometimes when I drink a lot my stomach feels slightly weird, but I don't even throw up or anything. Needless to say I didn't even drink on New Years Eve, so. I don't really like drinking in excess.

I threw up $25+ worth of booze and then about ten minutes later was out on the dancefloor dancing with a cute dude that I had just met that evening. And then went out for a drive with my friend and then we went for breakfast.

Got home around 5 and got out of bed sometime after noon and had no hangover. Just giddiness.

the first time i got drunk, i had the flu. i thought i was feeling better, but apparently i was wrong. and the shots felt good in my throat. haha
so the next morning, i woke up with a fever, (like everyday that week). i felt horrible, and i thought it was a hangover. but considering i haven't felt that way after drinking ever since then, i'm guessing it was just the flu.

ergo, i don't get hangovers..? :shrug:

Last year I spent Jan 1st not eating a damn thing. My mission on New Year's Eve 08 was to kill a liter of Captain Morgan before 2009. I succeeded. I also blacked out at about 1 and woke up on my friend's basement couch with no pants on at 11:30.

I spent New Year's Eve drinking moderate amounts of beer and woke up at 10 am in a hotel room next to my girlfriend, not hungover, but with some war wounds from the afterparty antics.

I was feeling pretty weird, especially my fucking tongue (it was like someone had halved the size on the string bit underneath it) but I think that was because I was chewing/sucking a mint/gum/lollipop the whole night. Probably should have drunk more water.

Minneapolis (where I went to college) has them, southern California (where I lived Nov 08 - April 09) had them.. but Milwaukee doesn't. I miss it. I wish one would pop up here somewhere.

Didn't get very drunk until January 1st, but I did manage to throw up out of a moving car on the expressway. Classy. And I had to drive home the next morning and then work...it was terrible. Couldn't eat anything real til like 5PM.
