The live version is definately much better.
This song is probably my favorite by HGB. Gonna be a hit. But yeah the live version owns this one.

I'm not a big fan of the song, but I still enjoy it. I'm not expecting much from their release, just a fun cd. It sounds as if I'll get it.

I prefer the live version too, but it's good.

it absolutely does. you just turn the program all the way up and it terraces off the notes so there are no slides

Waiting how many years for the new HGB cd....and half the album is nothing but re done versions of old songs..I was looking forward to new material
If it wasn't for the fact that Here In Your Arms is constantly stuck in my head all the time, I wouldn't buy this cd.....

la la la la la la la let down. This cd is really bad. If you factor in the time it took them to make it only gets more upsetting. Not to mention how bad the production is. But Hellogoodbye isn't about the music so I'm sure they will do fine.

listening to the whole e-card. Huge dissapointement. The old versions were way batter. And it only maddens me more that only 2 of these songs are new.
Ive loved this band from the begining and used to be a huge fan. Not only is the band not trying to be a good band by releasing new tracks.. (took em 2+ years) to create the album with already all the songs already made...forrest the lead singer isnt even trying to sound good with his voice.
theres too much auto tune, and just this band fucking blows now. but that wont stop teenyboppers and scene-o kids from buying this album.
This was on my list to be one of the most anticipated albums of 2006, but this is probably the worst album of 2006 with CIWWAF.
BEST? hands down rx bandits.

so what are they supposed to do with the songs you heard as demos ? just shit on them? thats what demos are, as you write material you demo them so u, your label, and producers know what to expect when recording the actual cd. its not their fault soem of their demos were put online by a few people.
and as for the live version, its pretty much the same as this version. the synth parts were pr-recorxed so what u hear in the live version is whats on this actual track. both sound good in my opinion

once again the songs u hear are new, the demos just leaked. and the over amount of auto tune was done on purpose, thats what they were looking for. do u really think a big producer or record label for that matter would let that much auto-tune "accidentaly" slip by ? its intentional because thats what they want it to sound like. and i highly doubt it will be the worst releease of 2006

It has nothing to do w/ Autotune actually. It is all about Vocoder , a tool that conveys a Daft punk vibe .. if you want to talk about majors autotune, listen to bands like Good charlotte, the Used and Story of the year..those are bands who really cant sing. If anyone has ever seen Forrest acoustic, you will know that he has an amazing voice.

FYI when autotune is turned way the fuck up and/or is very noticable, like cher, its not because the artist "cannot sing" or does not have an "amazing voice" its for effect. noone said forrest cant sing...
