Ashes Grammar is one of my favorite albums from 2009. Anybody else a fan of these guys?

yeah just about every thread i've made has been a failure but i've come to accept that the majority of the people here are not going to be down with what i listen to, and vice versa. i mean, i don't mind a brand new thread - but are 10 of them having the same discussion over and over really necessary? boring.

this band is solid. admittedly, i haven't listened to ashes grammar enough to decide if i prefer it to their debut. i added you on lastfm

I feel ya. When I listen I dig it intensely for like, 2 minutes, and then it just starts to lull me out of interest.

the new ep is really good. i'm surprised they're not more liked given all the love for jj. i guess they're not as catchy but whatevs.

It starts out really 80's new wavey/post-punky and then goes into their familiar dreamy sound. I'm really liking it.
