We just recorded a new song for 2010 and I'd really appreciate if you guys could rate the song and it's quality. It's all instrumental, so hopefully more can appreciate it. We definitely want some feedback!

based on what? production? the mix? song writing? i think more would appreciate it if you had vocals. as of now, it sounds a lot like most other metal demos i hear all the time, especially since tacoma wa is 90% metal bands.

you've got some cool stuff going on, but the guitar tone is killing me and the half time china is too. then again, i'm more into this type of stuff...

from a production standpoint- try losing the sampled snare replacement, or at least vary the velocity of the snare hits (ask the engineer/producer) I'd love to hear more bands like this tracking live together, possibly even to a tape deck if you can swing it. not only would the vibe be a bit more loose and raw, but the extra practice will make you grow as musicians and songwriters, and improve live performances.
As far as the song itself goes, seems rather standard, run of the mill Metalcore brand- I'd look at every place you put breakdowns for one song, and try to do something fresh or different. Maybe not for this song right now, but for the next one: every time you're all like, "Okay, drop a time, palm mute" try something different! It'll be fresh, fun, and again, you'll grow as songwriters.

All in all though a rather good production and solid performance, if a bit generic. this song could sell though with a powerful vocal delivery. I'd work on transitions around the one minute mark, you have a guitar line played and then a note that I think should be sustained a bit longer. just my opinion. hell, I think even slowing down a bit more during the melodic section from 1:00ish to 1:30ish would be cool.
