Starring: Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Ryan
This is premiering at Sundance this month and if I were going, would definitely be on my list to see.
This will be interesting to see him directing.

i have to say, i'm only interested in seeing this because psh is in it and it's his first time directing. based on the trailer, it doesn't look like something mindblowingly amazing, but based on psh's track record, i think it's safe to say that it'll be at least solidly good.

I dunno, doesn't look that bad. Looks like your typical trailer for a slightly less than mainstream romantic dramedy.
Not the biggest fan of directors being the lead in one's own film, though.

I dunno I guess it's a weird thing to dislike, but I just don't like the picture of the lead actor being in charge of the entire film.
This isn't based on any flick I've seen (there's probably more supportive evidence to the contrary opinion), just "bothers me" I guess.

Really what I'm saying is that I have no justification for it and don't actually feel this way, but the concept just bothers me.
