Did You Like Brand New Before You Came on this Site?

i wanted to post this because before i disocvered this about last year in march or w/e i thought brand new was the ebst thing since slcied bread but then i came on here and realized how annoying and redicolous the brand new hysteria was, even though i really liked them i even found the love they got on this site pretty annoying, so with that being said i really dont listen to them anymore bc i justc ant stand the new album, or how much attention they get, my question: did you like brand new before you discovered this site, then didnt like them anymore bc they were to popular and got to much attention?

Same thing happened to me. Prior to joining, I marginally liked Brand New. Now I can't fucking stand them. All I'll listen to is the YFW and DE songs already on my iPod.

I'd say hate is a strong word, but I saw absolutely zero appeal in anything I heard by them. Could not get through a whole song. Then one day I decided to listen to YFW, and I liked it a little, and over time I just liked the band more and more. Now I like mostly everything.

Yes (but, I joined like half an hour a go) but I don't like them so much anymore. It gradually went down hill for me after Deja. Daisy broke it all for me. they are a massive "no thank you" to me now.

exactly the same here. I listened to YFW, thought it was alright, then went through their albums and thought "okay this band is actually pretty good" and I would call myself a fan.

It's sort of hard to say. I didn't love brand new before and I don't love them now. I'm sort of just lukewarm about them. I have a friend who calls him Jesus Lacey. That's taking it a bit far.

I hadn't heard of Brand New before I came on this site, and all the praise tempted me to check them out. I wasn't sold at first, but they've definitely grown on me since then and are a favorite of mine. Not as high up as blink-182, but nonetheless, good.

I've heard some of their songs (Jesus Christ and Sic Transit Gloria) before I went on here, and dug them. But, I didn't really pay any attention to them till I went on here, and saw how crazy people were going for this band.
Now, I love them, and The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me is one of my favourite albums. Don't particularly like Daisy though, but some of the songs on there are decent.
