I watched Daybreakers at work and it was on it.

The last scene of the trailer is them in a plane that gets blown up and they fall out of it in a tank with a parachute attached to it...

then Bradley Cooper Opens the top of the tanks and starts shooting the turret at another plane mid-fall and blows it up. Ridiculous.

I love the show and I think it's looks fun -- obviously the final scene in the trailer looks ridiculous, but if you watched the show... that's the kind of over-the-top action they used to show. Maybe not to that extent, since this is a movie, but you have to balance the modern take on action with what made the show so popular in the first place.

Complaining about cheese in this remake would be like complaining about violence in a new Rambo movie. The show was great because of the characters and because of how absolutely ludicrous every scenario was. The fact that someone as prolific as Liam Neeson is a main character in this movie should speak volumes to what the script is actually like. This is going fucking rule.

Joe Carnahan is two-for-two in my book. Loved Narc and I had a blast with Smokin' Aces. Seen both of those quite a few times. This one just looks like a flat-out popcorn, action movie which I'm down for.

I liked smokin aces, but my friend I went to this with hated smokin aces. And we both were surprised how good it was. As an odd note, I thought the score sucked and a better remake of the theme could have helped a bit.

I think overall this was a roided-out version of the tv show. Sharlto Copley absolutely nailed the Murdock character, which in my opinion was always the bread and butter of the show, despite how much love BA/Mr T get.

And of course it ends with hastily constructed trickery and explosives, true to A-Team form.

If you dug Sharlto Copley, you should check out Dwight Schultz as the original Murdock. They both do an absolutely excellent job. And I totally loved the movie, I want to see 10 more.

Sharlto Copley was my favorite part of this. Also, I didn't realize that the South African accent was his real voice (the media scene), hahaha.

It was fun, but Ricky Tan had taken those plates in 2001 and Lee and Carter already recovered them for the Secret Service. /Rush Hour 2 plotline.

I just got back from watching this at the movies and I have to say I wasn't blown away. It wasn't terrible, even bad, but it definetely won't be considered 'movie of the year' by me. Liam Neeson was as good as ever, though. There's a reason he's one of my favourite actors.
