I agree, they do make stand out music. It's really a shame that they don't get noticed more because they deserve more recognition.

I was just listening to Live in a Dive yesterday. Great band. Joey Cape has such a fantastic voice. I prefer his stuff with Bad Astronaut though.

I don't think the words "pop" and "Lagwagon" should ever be in the same sentence.
Lagwagon is by far my favorite band of all time. With Bad Astronaut coming a close second.
I can't wait for the new Bad Astronaut to come out (Nov. 14th!).

And yeah, one of my fave bands. Great memories of when i was a kid. Blaze got a lot of bad critisism, even from the band itself, haha, but i think it's a great album. 'Max Says' is one of my fave Lagwagon songs. Hoss is probably my fave album though, but they are all pretty close, so it's hard to say.

It'll be very interesting to see what kind of stuff they write for their next album, since the beautiful Resolve was all about Derrick. I have a feeling it'll be a different sounding album.

Also, do you guys think Joey will write solo stuff now that Bad Astronaut aren't going to be making any more albums?

I hope so. I lik Lagwagon, but I've always preferred his other stuff (Bad Astronaut, his acoustic split with Tony Sly, Me First)
