i love these guys and i think they're a great band, but why exactly are they getting covered on ap.net?

Why question it? It's good to be able to see some local bands show up once and a while.

AP has been putting a lot of good unsigned bands on here lately. Its nice to be able to listen to new music that doesnt suck.

agreed, i just wonder where the line gets drawn i guess. *shrugs* i know a few bands who'd pretty much give up toes and fingers to get the exposure of their own news post on this site.
but that is also reason a#1 i love those roundup posts.

They actually AIMed me the news to post, which is why it was posted. Plus the news queue didn't have Band-Roundup posts in it and we had just made one last night, so it'd be sorta redundant to do it again.
