Because Lady Gaga, whether you want to believe it or not, is actually very talented. You may find her image ridiculous or dislike her songs on the radio but her acoustic songs are really great and she has written for some of the biggest names out there.

Haha alright that's true i'll give you that one. I have a problem with people not taking their music seriously. Music shouldn't be a joke and I feel like this chick treats it like it is. i'd take the honesty of lights over the masquerade of gaga any day. she may not be the brain child of some company, but there is a very minimal amount of substance in her music. i'm not going to see her live, so dancing means nothing, nor do costumes. i want to listen to something real. ke$ha is not much better than gaga (judging from the one song i've listened to), but it's more fun because it is tongue-in-cheek. gaga takes herself waaaay to seriously. maybe ke$ha does too, but i'm taking it as humorous.
