One of my favorite movies of all time. It's so fucking good, yes? First off, Tom Hanks can do no wrong. But this is one of the best movies he has ever done.

I love how the title is a double meaning...Castaway versus Cast Away...

And it's weird how 90 minutes of the film has virtually zero talking yet it's still one of the most entertaining movies i've ever watched.

Tom Hanks is by far my favorite actor, and who can forget- That Thing You Do, The Burbs, Forest Gump, and A League of Their Own

I completely hated it in theaters, but then I saw most of it again in my English class last year and thought it was fantastic.

I read the title plays on both the Castaway meaning cast away to sea, the island, etc, yet it also reflects how his wife "casts" him "away"

Forrest Gump for me...but his most impressive role is in the Terminal, with Cast Away a close second. At least he had Wilson for support in Cast Away, he got nothing (Zeta Jones) in the Terminal

I thought the support in The Terminal was good.. the foreign garbage man was funny.

I meant that more to rip on Catherine Zeta Jones...since she is main support. The rest of them are pretty good, but Tom Hanks carries that movie

Great, great film. I saw this in theatres and while I've seen some terrible films in theatres when I was younger, this was one of the better ones.
