Caspa is the shit. I'd also throw Rusko's hat into the ring.

My current favorites are Joker, Untold, and Instra:Mental. All time I'd say some of the old school (well, as old as you can get with Dubstep) producers I rate highly are Horsepower Productions, El-B (although the lean more towards 2-step), and Kode9 (still love him, actually). My fav tunes of 09 were (with Youtube links, don't want to clutter up the thread with videos):
Pangaea - Memories (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y6-Vcro3wrk)
Untold - Dante (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RY9mKY8puA)
James Blake - Air & Lack Thereof (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vEXpbCMxc0)
Joy Orbison - Hyph Mngo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsJVW5apRmY)
Instra:Mental - Watching You (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AnyCPvYg9s)
Joker - Purple City (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bIR_YmiuVw)
And some oldies (well old-ish) but goodies:
Toasty - The Knowledge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO4NUI1ib6Q)
The Bug - Poison Dart ft. Warrior Queen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-aW7NFSGklM)
Horsepower Productions - Gorgon Sound (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsXLQYE5cgs)
El-B - Express (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1l5bDDtGJY)
Kode9 & the Samurai - Nine Samurai (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaU-pnassYM)
Skream - Midnight Request Line (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6pTSGvp7T8) (of course)
FYI I don't really like Caspa or those wobble-step guys all that much except the occasional tune and Benga has always been pretty hit or miss for me, so my taste probably won't match up too closely with yours, but I hope you find some good stuff in there at least.
It's nice to see another Dubstep thread around here, anyway.

I love the wobble :-d
All I have heard is that Moth/Bear Cub split from Burial and Four Tet. Would that count as dubstep? If so, what else should I listen to to get into the genre?

You'd probably like Mount Kimbie a lot (try 50 Mile View (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1Vt6ZDlJ4A)), and out of the above links (because I'm getting lazy), try the Untold and Pangaea, and especially the Instra:Mental. Burial is Dubstep, but very ambient, so really nothing like much of the early stuff (except maybe some Kode9), and he's not going to sound anything like Caspa, Benga, etc.

if your talking Dubstep then Burial is the master.
If you mean more liquid Drum and Bass, see High Contrast, Logistics, London Elektrikity and Chase and Status, SubFocus
and ANDY C is Drum and Bass.

I'm stoked I stumbled upon this thread.
I got introduced to dubstep when I went to the UK last year, but never really looked into any artists besides the guys that I saw (who were with True Tiger). I'll definetly be checking out all these links!

i saw True Tiger do a live set with Enter Shikari the other week, and i never really liked their remixes, but they were really good live and played an awesome set.

lol it's so funny when people who have no idea what they're talking about try to make what they think are really insightful comments about things.

Theres a dj I know of who makes dubstep completely from a Nintendo Gameboy and masters the final track in FL studio. Heres a link to his stuff: http://www.myspace.com/henryhomesweet
Listen to Satori. It's amazing. He's not strictly dub step. He does a variety of electronica.
