Alright so photography has been a big interest for me over the last few years and I finally got around to purchasing a decent camera that in my opinion is a bit above average than what everyone else picks up. I'm used to most camera's but this one is so much better and newer than any other i've owned. it's a Sony DSC-HX1 and I had an ex girlfriend that had one i believe that was either the same or nearly the same as this one, and she had a setting on it where even more than just coming out very clear, you could tell the pictures were being automatically shot in like 1080hd. My camera is capable of this, I know it, I just don't know where to set this on it?

Anyone that is confused by what I mean, her pictures looked like this right when taking them.

I was extremely jealous that any pictures I wanted to look like this on my older camera had to be changed up through photoshop.
So can anyone help me out? What's the part i'm missing about this camera i have?

why don't you start by reading the owner's manual

and if you want to take a picture that is close up on a small object, find your camera's macro mode.

Haha this thread was about some camera, and then I read ex-girlfriend and her pictures looked like this... at the end of the post.
I thought this thread would be way against park regulations. Anyone like my Whitest Kids U'Know reference?
