Chris Staples is one of my favorite songwriters. If you don't know him, he was the singer for a band called twothirtyeight and put out solo stuff under the name Discover America, along with a solo album, Blackest Hair, Bluest Eyes. I am very excited to hear he is touring with Manchester Orchestra (though I may not get to see it). It has rekindled my love for him. So here are some examples of his work.
