Virgin is their UK label, Epitaph is their US label. Trust me, I have talked to someone at Epitaph about it and they don't have a date for it yet. It's not even on Epitaph's website.

Half the songs were throw aways, half were really good. More consistency this time around would be nice

I pre-ordered the album but couldn't wait so got the leak. Some great tracks and Liquid Confidence sounds like something Danny Williams would write, overall its a quality album. And just so they get kudos on this site, Josh's fav band is Brand New :-0

Overrated? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, but I don't exactly see a whole lot of people hyping YMAS up.

Me too. And I really can't be listening to most bands with that sound, so they must be doing something right. So excited to hear the new album, gonna have to go out and purchase this weekend

They're pretty hyped up in the UK in the teen girl/pop punk market. They just did a big Arena tour with Paramore over here, where they were main support, and if you ask me one of the main reasons it sold out so quickly. Then in march they're doing their own headline tour of venues clocking in at about 4,000/5,000 a night. I don't have a problem with the hype for them though really, I'd rather have the hype on these guys than yet another bunch of indie alsorans with no talent but for ripping of Libertines songs.

I absolutely loved Take Off Your Colours. But I'm not feeling the stuff that they've put on their myspace. And I really hope it releases in the US on the 11th but from what Drew Beringer said, it won't be. Oh well. Just gonna have to wait.

If it's The Consequence and Underdog I can't believe it. Those songs are great! The Consequence reminds me a LOT of Lostprophets from the 'Start Something' time.

McFly really? I dont see that all all but hey. Cant argue with the saving aimee comments though, they put on a terrible show in said small venues.
As for hold me down... its sounds like ymas to me. Not wowed yet either. Maybe something special will show up late in the album like it did on toyc.

Haha I can hear it. But then I can also hear the Fall Out Boy rip off's in a lot of their songs. Namely Nasty Habits where the line 'your best kept secret' and 'You're the best kept secret' sound far too similar for my liking. But still, I like the song

I think it's a decent record. However, it's almost like they just print out a template and fill it in when it comes to song writing. Four line verses, each rhyming. Followed by a chorus. Another verse consisting of four lines of rhyme. Pre chorus. Chorus. Bridge. Followed by a repetitive outro.

The amount of times they do that structure on Hold Me Down is unbelievable. It works mostly but listening to an entire record of it can grow tiresome. As can listening to the same song topic for almost 12 songs. Sounds negative, but i actually really enjoy the record, minus Trophy Eyes.

Also, off topic slightly but someone mentioned McFly and well they are no longer generic, their last album had alot of different type's of songs on. Some awful, some bad, some good. Next record will be their...opus? ..hmm!

I'm inclined to agree. It's clearly nothing special, as it's a pop rock album by numbers that many a band have already done recently. But of all the bands to have done it, I think they're probably the best.
