i saw this on theboreds.com and i thought it was really cool. i havent seen it done on the forums yet or i couldnt find one but yea. i thought it might be fun.

you can only pick people who are currently in the nba.

12 Rounds
-5 Starters, PG, SG, SF, PF, C.
-7 Bench players.

Other rules...

Anyone to draft in the next 24 hours gets in. i'd prefer if there would be like 10 or something teams
Second round starts tomorrow.
it's a snake draft

If you don't pick within 24 hours of the guy ahead of you, then the person with the next pick gets to go.

If you miss two rounds in a row you're done and your picks get thrown into the 'wasted' pile. (Unless we find someone who wants to take over your team.)

i copied most of this off of a user from theboreds.com forums. thanks ignitionnight.

#1 LeBron James.

- because i think he is gonna be the next jordan even though i hate saying that. he is still young and he was a contender for this year's mvp. and his stats are incredible for someone this young. and he will probably win MVP if the cavs do good again next year.

you gotta pick one.

"and with the number one pick, the toronto raptors select: andreia bargnani or lamarcus aldridge."

see, it doesn't work.

i'm planning to build up Jerome James to all star status then with one year left on his contract, try to get a trade involving these two. when JJ opts out, i plan to resign him for 60 mil.

my starting lineup will end up looking like:
pg: mookie blaylock
sg: brian cook
sf: mike dunleavy jr.
pf: nick collison
c: jerome james

it's pretty much over from there

I'm going with Amare pre-injury.
