I found it boring and not as good as Last Days. I know many will argue, but it just didn't hit me.

between the two of you you've already had more dialogue than was in both of those movies combined.

elephant was entirely overrated. they shouldve just called it columbine.

I loved this film, and thought the way it was shot and the use of unknowns was a masterstroke in showing how unexpected and shocking the events of Columbine were.
And the lack of dialogue really hit home the point that it was just an ordinary day until the shooting. It wasn't supposed to be exciting, it was a statement. and as a statement I think it was great

Stated perfectly. I couldn't agree more.

I thought it was pretty good, my friend says it's the worst movie she's ever seen.

It's a horrendous movie.
My English teacher wanted to show us in school. I hadn't heard of the movie. About a year after I had that class I finally watched it and I was like "WHAT THE FUCK?!" That shouldn't be shown in school.

I'm on the fence because, although the lack of dialogue throughout the film may have been a "statement"...they could have done more than just showed kids walking around the school in slow motion for 20 minutes a piece.
it was alright...
there have been better school shooting movies. there have been better movies about drama at scool. Take for example, set it off or 187.
(i think set it off is what is was called...forest whitaker and usher? haha)

I agree. Ive seen it twice (I like to give second chances) and thought it was awful both times. :shrugs:

Hahahahahahaha.
I hated this movie.
I made a thread recommending it, but it didn't get much attention; if you are looking for a very powerful movie dealing more with the school shooting side of the movie, watch Zero Day. I very highly recommend it.
This was a very fucked up movie. I remember just sitting in my room after it ended saying, 'What the fuck did I just watch?' I definitely don't plan on seeing it again.

It's such a contrived piece of bullshit. I don't care how "real" you're making it...that's not what high school is like at all.

the only thing i liked about this movie was how they should the events from like 5 different people's point of view. But other than that it was really slow and kinda boring and very repetetive.

the thing about them being gay (especially the shower scene) was so stupid and very unnecessary
and yes i get the "point" of it

What I did like about it is how it showed the day from perspectives of different students, how one girl walked by a conversation and you barely notice her. Then it is her perspective the next time and you hear what they're saying and such.
It isnt a great movie but it is still good I think.
Last Days is also good.

it didn't blow me away. or anything like that. but when it ended, i just sat there and didn't really know what to think about anything. i found the ending very very very eerie. i don't really want to watch any more school shooting movies, this was enough for me.
