Music in 2010 please no more auto tune in everything

I hope auto tune is out of our way at least the over autotune in every style and genre. I do like it for popy punk dance and new electro but not in punk and not in rock...please!!!!!!

Hate to break it to you, but just about every band you like probably uses some auto-tune on their vocals. They just don't use it for effect.

I hear ya Im talking about the T Pain approach with every song, I understand pr tools pluggins to correct tuning I just cant wait for the over effect of auttune to be gone!

Clean sounds with good producers make great albums real and raw is still king though!!!

That's what i'm thinking. I think about some bands i've seen live where the singer sounds amazing but not quite the same as on the album.

What most people refer to as autotune isn't really autotune. Autotune is just a brand name. The studio I was in most recently used melodyne, but it's all the same thing. Autotune is just pitch-correction software.
