its never too late. I finally started listening to them this past fall, and it's worth it. I enjoy The Queen Is Dead the best, followed by the S/T album. Strangeways is really awesome too, but I'm not the biggest fan of Meat Is Murder, oddly enough

my personal favorite as cliche as it is "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" which is the first song I've ever heard by them. and John I don't think Strangeways is quite as bad as you say, for every weak song theres an awesome one, "Girlfriend In A Coma" and "Stop Me..." for example
