Yep, I was really surprised it got here this early.

It's a digipak (cardboard case), and the size of a regular cd. The lyrics are glued to the middle section (like Moneen's cd), and the cd's slide into three seperate flaps.

I was laying here half watching the Reds on mute and half listening to it. And the lyrics, cheesy guitar line and vocals caught me and I'm just like, "Are you kidding me?"

This is a really interesting album.

It's one of the worst songs I've heard in I don't even know how long. It's a cool story since he just got married, but the lyrics are so bad that I couldn't help but laughing, and the goofy guitar line and vocals only made it worse.

This album pretty much defines "mixed bag." Some of this is quality, some is terrible, some is really intriguing and some is just downright strange.

I'm really having a hard time waiting. I haven't listened to the leak. The only songs I've heard is Decoration, Hair, Money in his Hand and Long Talks. Hopefully my pre-order comes tomorrow!

The Path showed a lot of promise instrumentally in certain spots, especially on some of those Session tracks. Plus "Never Coming Back" or whatever it was called was one of the best songs on all three discs.

The Mechanic wasn't bad, but it wasn't nearly as good as The Room's Too Cold. The Mother was bad, and The Path was really interesting, but not something I could listen to more than once or twice.

This album has absolutely zero lasting value, too.

Something you listen to a handful of times, leaves some sort of impact on you, and finds a niche in your cd collection. It's kind of like a movie.

I actually agree with you here, but this is the catch-22 of creating an album like this. This isn't the album you'll listen to on a daily basis for the purpose of enjoying. That was what I thought at the end of listening to The Path. It was really entertaining once. The first disc should be the one that you could spin on a regular basis, and it was better than I thought it would be, but it lacks the standout tracks that The Room's Too Cold has.

So I'm actually not disappointed, it's just like you said, this album's so big, and, let's say non-traditional, that it's not something you could sit and listen to a lot.

I think this triple album thing is all right. I really like the first disc. The second seems okay at best, and the third disc is just something to listen to a couple times.

I've actually been surprised how much I have liked the Mother... I have found alot of the songs to be quite beautifully done.
