This is the newest song I wrote. The meaning is a lot like the other one I posted here, but this song is much faster in tempo and much heavier.
Pre-Catastrophe
Verse 1:
We try to ignore the shivers inside
One more false move and order divides
From the banks of the rivers to mountainous hills
The spine of society shivers with chills
Chorus:
This day will come sometime (whoa)
When the obliteration crosses the line (whoa)
Heartbeats hammer loudly (whoa)
As catastrophe strikes killing the peace (whoa)
Verse 2:
We won’t be immune to the chaos that hides
The sickness that spreads will silence our cries
Pride and bravery are now extinct
As the widespread panic reaches its peak
Chorus
Bridge 1:
Do we have the will to stop this madness?
Or is it the end of an era of bliss?
A wasteland of dignity covers the soil
Here’s to the end of a city so loyal
Bridge 2:
Apathy ruins the roads we’ve walked
Did the last piece of the puzzle fit?
Chorus x 2
