I just saw panic last night, their set was crazyyyy. They played everything off A Fever AND they did two covers (a smashing pumpkins one and a radiohead one). Brendon also did a britney cover with the dresden dolls.

It's a picture of them from awhile ago. It's giving readers an image of what they USED to look like, compared to what they look like at their shows.

I just saw panic last night, their set was crazyyyy. They played everything off A Fever AND they did two covers (a smashing pumpkins one and a radiohead one). Brendon also did a britney cover with the dresden dolls.
That's the new trend. All these bands are getting big (and subsequently headlining big tours) on ONE ALBUM, and they're doing that full album live and then need to fill the time.. usually a cover or two. I've always seen two covers as a bit much, though, unless one cover is just a cover of your own work with another project--not the case with Panic though.

I dont care what anyone says. Panic are suprisingly good for how young they are. It has to be incredible for them what is happening. They are living every kids dream that starts a band. Even though I'm sick of all of thier songs, I still can say that they are excellent.
I'll wait until their next cd to give them the boot, but for now, I really like the stuff.

I'm still really angry that The Dresden Dolls are OPENING for these clowns... if anyone deserves a major headlining tour it's them. They shouldn't be heckled by a bunch of pre-teens who only went to the show for Brandon Urie.

That picture is up on the band's myspace, so if all those "that can't be them" comments are for real, there's your proof. I really enjoy p!atd's music, and I'm seeing them on saturday, I don't think buying into an image really makes them bad or anything. I still enjoy the music, even though they're just becoming a product.

I went to the show last night - it was excellent. Believe it or not, the little ones seemed to like the Dresden Dolls. I definitely didn't hear any heckling. Also, I have to add that the Dolls (and the Hush Sound) were much nicer with the young fans than Panic, who didn't even acknowledge the screaming kids pre-show. What if their favorite band snubbed them like that when they were that young, three years ago? I thought that was rude.
