One of my favorite songwriters of the past ten years or so, and he's so damn underrated. Every album he's released is fantastic, small town storytelling at its finest. It's just a shame that people like Toby Keith and Tim McGraw continue to represent "country" in the mainstream when we have artists of this caliber hidden underneath the floorboards.
