You can download both of my new instrumental demo's for songs that will eventually be put out through my "For Now I Need You Ep" here (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=150564) as well as discuss what you think of them.

Here are the lyrics for "Sometimes I Get Scared".

Sometimes I Get Scared

Hold on too tight, it’s better than not enough
And that’s quite important
I could teach you so much but you have to be willing to learn

There’s a line we all cross between the light and the darkness
It trickles down the steeples and onto the pavement
There’s a church on the right
And shadows on the other side
Hold my hand in the centre

Counting down with seconds to spare
Hold each breath like it’s almost the end

Let me live I swear to god I’ll make this work
For better or worse means nothing at the bottom of it all
So don’t say that we’re sinking
Lets tie up lose ends and mend broken threads
We may not have a chance like this ever again

Close this book before it falls apart for all of us

Can't wait to hear the finalized version. I'll definitely buy an Ep when it comes out.

I don't know if I will be able to sell it, or if people would want to buy it. I would probably sell it for a few dollars and set up a paypal account for it

Honestly I read better lyrics from you not to say they're bad I just don't sense a lot of emotion or something from them. The music sounds good except I think maybe you should go over the last part of the untitled one and you really need a drummer for sometimes I get scared because it could be even better with better fills and stuff, I think it would have more energy.

The untitled one is still roughly 30% finished musically (not to mention the vocals/lyrics). Hence, it is a "demo".

And I can't change the drums on this one, because I had to record it for my Higher Music exam last April in a studio.

As for the lyrics, I hear ya. I have been strongly thinking about arrangements, track listings etc for my ep the last few weeks and I am now thinking that this probably won't make the cut

People don't really like reading stuff I guess. If I ever make a thread that has more than 4 lines, people can't be arsed with it.

How've you been doing with the writting, I haven't been in here much since I went away last week?
