The Amateurs

I bought a movie from Blockbuster a while back called the Amateurs, and finally got around to watching it tonight, and I have to say, I haven't enjoyed a movie this much in a long time.

It stars Jeff Bridges, and the story is that Bridges, in a rut in his life, decides that the way to turn his life around is to create a porno flick with his friends.


Really great writing, really great chemistry, all that. If you ever stumble across it, definitely worth the watch.

It was actually quite good, I thought. Good laughs, fun movie.

I watch a lot of indie movies and I saw a trailer for this in a couple of them, so I found it (it's also called The Moguls, which mad finding it quite annoying/confusing) and I thought it was pretty good. I'm not a great Jeff Bridges fan, but the rest of the cast made up for it. Pretty funny stuff, and the ending was great and unpredictable, which is nice for a change.

Edit- Well, this was released three years before Zack and Miri, so maybe it's the other way around.
