My favorite frontman to this day. Can't imagine where Further would be today if that sitch didn't go sour or where Saosin might be if he took the lead.

How To Start A Fire was FSF's best album. Favorite frontman for them as well.

ActionReaction was great too but I'm not digging his new stuff.

It seems like he just stopped caring. It's a shame because he has a really powerful voice.

How did he stop caring? Being in FSF was not a good situation for him.

He was almost as good as Chris Carrabba. That's all I really have to say for him.
His band after FSF was the worst.

I love his voice but the music doesn't do it for me anymore

How To Start A Fire will always be one of my favorite albums. The man's voice is incredible.

This is the last stuff I remember him doing. "Troubadour" isn't too bad.

"Wearing Thin" was my favorite song by FSF. And yes I know Gleason didn't sing it Carraba did. But Gleason's voice was better.

Not a good situation? How so? The rest of the band are about the blandest dudes I can think of (in a good way). If anything, he had too much rockstar mentality for his own good.

The band were letting him have zero creative input in the music. Jason was 21 when HTSAF was released. Both sides are respectable, but it was not a situation Jason was comfortable or happy in.

The Moon Is Down is my favorite FSF record, but Jason Gleason's voice fit the band's style the best. IMO

I still think he was an idiot to leave.

"There, Now I've Said It" was pretty killer to me.

Agreed. It was awesome to see two artists' approach to that song, and how vastly different they were.

I wish a band would try that. Write a whole album worth of music, and then release several of them with different vocalists.

Agreed. I didn't know that he was offered the spot in Saosin, that would have been interesting.. HTSAF is one of my absolute favorite records, it's SUCH a powerful album because of his voice!

Interested in everyone's opinion on how Jason sounded covering TMID songs live vs. Chris. Better? Worse? Too different to compare?

Sorry, but Chris can't sing live for shit. I'd prefer TMID with Jason, myself.

I finally got the Old Wives album. It's so much fun. One of the best things I've heard this year. So good to hear Jason's voice again.
