well we all know how mmuch bigmike loves brandon inge, so im sure he's not heartbroken about it.

that said, anyone saying anything positive about the disastros should have their press passes revoked.

yeah, I think this is getting way too much attention. The Sox were actually pushing Manny to skip it, although I'm sure he wasnt pleading for a change of heart.

Either way, players can do whatever the hell they want in regards to this game, as far as I'm concerned. Home field or no home field, Manny or anyone else doesn't owe shit to a game that's characterized by unworthy players and managers that are homers.

If Bud Selig wants to get rid of the fan voting, then we can have a serious discussion about whether or not someone should be allowed to skip this game or not. Until then ..they can do whatever they want, especially when it's for the good of the team that matters.

I actually like Brandon Inge. Despite his shitty average, he's 3rd among AL 3rd Basemen in Homeruns in is near there as well in RBI's. Plus, he's got the feet of a shortstop and range of one as well. He's got a cannon at 3rd base and only made 2 or 3 errors in June which is astonishing for a kid who is in his 3rd year ever playing 3rd.

before his defense picked up. But now that his defense is pick up and he's sustaining his power numbers, i'm happy with Inge.
