I don't know why people hate on Allister so much. They're a fun, pop-punk band that I've enjoyed since Dead Ends and Girlfriends. Yeah, they aren't anything that's out to change the landscape of music, but they are fun and write fun songs. I enjoyed seeing them live a few years ago, and enjoy listening to their music when I'm in a "fun" mood.

Agreed. They've never claimed nor ACTED like they are a greater band than they are. It's not like they're constantly climbing on the soap box and bitching about politics and the smokes and mirrors of the music industry and trying to act like something they're not. when i got into them 5 years ago they were a pop punk band wanting to make catchy music and have fun and drink beer and impress hot chicks...and they still are today. I respect that more than any band who jumps trends or compromises their original roots and beliefs to counter with what's popular at the moment.
William Tell is great. Check out his stuff if you haven't yet.

Don't forget about Much The Same and Showoff...
I can't believe they are doing shows there after all the "security" issues I've heard about.
Maybe that little scene is coming back?

I'm hoping to make it to the Columbus or KOC show, but I'm not sure. I'd love to see Allister since it's been well over a year since I've seen them.
