i love that game but i have a hard time playing because in middle school i had a sub named mr Payne who was a really creepy guy that tried to befriend us but then the next second he would be bitching at us for being mean to each other and almost got me a detention. everytime i play the game i think about him and die a little inside....

I got both of them and like them a lot, and I found a few good mods that are worth checking out. I just don't remember what they were cause I don't think they ended up on my laptop. I remember one made it like Matrix like and it was fucking bad ass. Cause it wasn't like the stages were just revamped, they were completely new levels. And new moves and shit.

Great game. I have only played a tiny bit of the second one, and from what I saw the graphics weren't as good as the first game.

With that being said, I was playing it on a PS2

The 2nd one was waaaayyyy too short. The first one basically owned my life everytime I played it. And the story is definitely not shit. I think it's put together well for a videogame. The only games that have better writing than Max Payne are the Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid games.
